Please people before handing over any money in the sale of a pup, I cant emphasise enough the need to view the pup in its own surroundings preferably with its mother.

Old Tyme / Aylestone Bulldogs should never be confused with American Bulldogs or Pit Bulls. They are not in bred with any of these breeds and they do not have the same temperament. Old Tyme / Aylestones are bred to be friendly, loving family pets and thats exactly what they are.
Shy Star Tilly of Aylestone and Aylestones Chivalrous Hotspur have become parents again to 9 beautiful Aylestone Bulldog puppies.

Chels Old Tymes Last pup has now been sold. Lily has gone to her new home just down the road so hopefully we will still see her from time to time.

Old Tyme / Aylestone Bulldogs are always sold with a 5 generation pedigree. If you go to purchase a puppy and you do not receive a pedigree then it is NOT an Old Tyme / Aylestone Bulldog.
Our male pup Aylestones Own Buttons has found a new home in Hertfordshire. His new name is Lenny. Good luck Lenny.

that the Old Tyme breed descends from. As you can see the nose of a British Bulldog is pushed right back between the eyes, something that is not so prominent in Old Tymes.

Old Time Bulldogs are a picture of health and vitality. They are agile and full of character. They are a fantastic, loyal addition to the family from pup to old age and they are a pleasure to keep.
Example of an Old Tyme Bulldog puppy. They have a longer nose, longer legs and their tails should not be docked. This breed has a fantastic outgoing personality.

Looking at the British Bulldog, you can see the legs are very short and hip dysplasia is very common. This makes mobility hard and the act of reproduction requires aids such as mating cradles. All very costly.

A strong characteristic of a British Bulldog is the underbite where the bottom jaw is more pronounced than the top jaw. Extreme underbite is considered a genetic defect. Allignment of the teeth is affected.
